We recently posted about Vulfpeck’s video for their new song “Sauna” on their just-released record Schvitz. Since then, they’ve released music videos for several of their singles from the new album. The Vanguard V44S gen2 features prominently in most of the videos. The fellas at Vulfpeck took the V44S and ran with its versatility. In the 4 videos where we’ve spotted it, it’s excelled on a variety of specific tasks.
First up, we have “In Heaven”, featuring the vocal delights of Antwaun Stanley. The V44S is pulling heavy duty here, with Antwaun’s vocals as well as the bulk of the acoustic instruments being picked up by its twin capsules.
Next is the tune “New Guru”, also with Antwaun Stanley on the lead vox. The V44S is tucked in the rear capturing the horns of Joey Dosik.
We also have “Earworm” with Jack Stratton on vocals. here, the V44S is set up in a way to capture both acoustic guitars from virtuosi Cory Wong and Theo Katzman.
And finally, we have “Sauna”, with Antwaun and Theo sharing the mic.
Thanks to the fellas at Vulfpeck for allowing us to be a small part of their incredible music. If you spot a Vanguard mic in the wild, please drop us a line!
