Seems like our V44S gen2 stereo mic is getting a lot of love lately!
In its latest appearance, our friends at Supro USA did a demo of a few of their new amps. Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown took the amps for a spin, and the Vanguard V44S gen2 captured the whole performance. Take a listen below!
Per Justin and Robin at Supro, this was a time-crunch session and the V44S’ flexibility made it much easier to quickly shoot the live video and get great sounds with just 2 inputs. Robin put the mic in figure-8 for more separation and started playing with angles. After deciding 90º was too wide, they settled in at a 60º angle between the capsules. Per Robin –
