We were blessed to have Grammy-winning producer Chuck Ebert come out to the 2022 NAMM Show and hang out with us. Chuck is an outstanding guy, and also provided some fantastic listening tracks for you. In the notes of each track, we’ve also provided links to high-resolution WAV files which you can download and drop into your DAW for more critical listening.

First up is a wonderful soulful female vocal duo on the V13 gen2, recorded at The Cabin where Chuck normally works.

Second we have a male voiceover narration read by Jeff Clayborn on the V13 gen2. One thing that stands out here is the lower noise floor in the gen2. The V13 was already a quiet microphone, but with our new upgrades it’s one of the quietest, if not THE quietest, tube microphones out there!

Finally, we have the V44S gen2 set up in XY, recording The Cabin’s Yamaha C7 grand piano as the room mic.
