After a long hiatus, Vanguard Audio Labs is excited to re-introduce our “Bring It On” Demo Program for a limited time!
In the age of the internet, it’s harder than ever to properly evaluate audio gear. Hype marketing, shady “pay-to-play” reviews & endorsements, “FR Charts” that are smoothed to the point of uselessness, component name-dropping, audio clips delivered in hyper-compressed digital formats and no signal chain information…but how do you know what a mic REALLY sounds like?
We thought about this problem for a while, and came up with a simple answer…
the best way to properly evaluate a microphone’s performance is in your own studio, on your own gear.
We gladly invite you to put any Vanguard microphone up against your very best, most favorite-est mics in your locker. That’s why we’re calling it “Bring It On”. We’re confident that you can put any of our microphones against the best mics you’ve got, whether they’re $50 or $5000. We put exhaustive work into carefully testing every aspect of a microphone’s design…from individual components, to capsule voicings, to innovative shockmount design, down to the gauge of the wire mesh on the headgrill. Each of our microphones undergoes testing in real-life sessions, head-to-head against iconic vintage and modern microphones.
Hearing is believing, and we know that once you hear our gear, we’re probably not gonna get it back.

We expect you may have some questions. Allow me to head them off at the pass.
Q: Will I have to pay shipping?
A: Nope. We will pay the shipping to you, and back from you in the event of a return.
Q: Can I participate if I’m outside the US?
A: At this time, only US residents are eligible for the demo program. Our distributors are super-cool, and a lot of them do offer demos as well. You can find your local Vanguard Audio Labs distributor here…and if you’re in a place where we don’t have a distributor yet, please email us and we’ll see what we can do to help you!
Q: Do you charge me when you send me the demo unit?
A: We take and test a valid payment method before shipping your demo gear, but we do not charge unless you decide to keep it (which, let’s be honest…you’re gonna keep it.)
Q:What’s your favorite color?
A: Not relevant. But it’s obviously Pinot Noir, the color of our microphones.
Q: What’s the catch?

Q: What if I want to try a bunch of different Vanguard microphones at once?
A: At the moment, we’re only offering one demo at a time. We may expand this in the future to allow two or three products at a time.
Q: Can I try the same mic twice?
A: Sorry, no rentals…you get one shot per mic. Make it count.
