What do [deep breath] Miles Davis, Luther Vandross, Sting, Roberta Flack, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, George Benson, Michael Jackson, David Sanborn, Vanessa Williams…and hundreds of other legendary artists and musicians have in common?

They have all worked with Grammy-winning producer, keyboardist, composer, arranger and synthesist Jason Miles. For 46 years, Miles has contributed his vast array of talents and deep musicality to the success of these and countless other superstars and independent artists.

Jason recently picked up a Vanguard V13 gen2 Tube Condenser for his own music. Here’s what he had to say about his V13 gen2:

Well, you know, I’ve been working on a Brazilian-groove number called ‘Passion Fruit’, it’s like summer to a samba beat, and I needed a great mic to record MYSELF! After more than four decades of recording other singers, no slouches by any means, we’re talking Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Sting, it was my turn!
