We LOVE when an engineer loves a mic so much that they pick up a 2nd one to complete the stereo set! After two vocal tests in which the Vanguard V13 tied with a vintage CMV 563 and beat a vintage U47, Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat, Michael Jackson) called me back to grab another one to mic his Yamaha C7 Grand Piano.

Ken is putting the finishing touches on his new studio Marshmellow Skies. LLC in Westlake Village, CA, with a rockin’ Dolby Atmos setup. He also put out a book about the making of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours which you can grab at any book retailer.
