“I have quite a few vintage & some modern tube LDC in my collection, but the V13 Generation 2 Tube Microphones definitely hold their weight with the rest of the gang. They really excel on numerous sources such as: Vocals, Guitars, Grand Piano, Strings, Drum Room Mics, & also work very well on Drum Overhead Mics. Recently, I brought them with me to record a string quartet & was very pleased with the results!

Overall the build quality is great, it has very smooth highs & an awesome mid range clarity & focused detail. They are quickly becoming workhorse mics that I go to during recording sessions. It’s got a familiar old school vibe, but with a whole lot of new modern soul.
