Grammy-winning Engineer, Producer, and Hot Rod Builder (Jon Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Barbara Streisand)

Obie O’Brien is a Grammy-winning engineer and producer. While best-known for his longtime work with Jon Bon Jovi, Obie has a massive credits list including Barbra Streisand, The Marvelettes, Cole Redding, The Nighthawks, Alice Cooper, and many more. In 2010, Obie received a Grammy award for his engineering & production on Oh Happy Day, as well as a nomination for his work on Shawn Colvin’s record Shawn Colvin Live.

Obie is pictured here with his shiny new V44S and V13 microphones. In his comparisons, he tested both mics against his favorite U67s. Then he called and asked me when I sold my soul to the devil to get our mics to sound so good!
