Project Description

Songwriter, Producer, Session Guitarist, Recording Artist

We’re humbled to welcome 2-time Grammy-winning songwriter, producer, session guitarist, and recording artist Gary Nicholson to the Vanguard family!
To choose a few of the artists who have recorded his songs is tough, but Robert Plant, Fleetwood Mac, BB King, Ringo Starr, Neil Diamond, and Willie Nelson is just skimming the surface. He’s written #1 hits, won 2 Grammys, had songs in major motion pictures and television, and there’s over 600 recordings of his songs cut genres including in country, pop, rock, and blues.
Gary has had Ray Kennedy‘s demo V13 Tube Condenser microphone for awhile, using it as the vocal microphone for artists like and Eagles songwriter Jack Tempchin. He just picked up a V13 of his own, serial #750. Gary’s words on the V13 made my day –
“it just keeps proving itself, time and time again, on everything.”
We’re so thrilled and honored to welcome you to the family, Gary! Go listen to some of Gary’s incredible songs at garynicholson.com.
