Daniel recently picked up the V13 Tube Condenser after hearing it at the studio of our friend Sean Winchester.
“The Vanguard V13 is my go-to tube condenser. It delivers all the vintage warmth and tonal characteristics one would expect of a high quality tube condenser – at a fraction of the price for this level of performance. It pairs naturally with every voice or instrument I’ve used it on, is extremely quiet, and the tonal variance one can achieve through varying positioning, proximity, and polar patterns makes this mic feel like using a sonic paint brush.”
We’re happy to have Daniel as a part of the Vanguard family! Check out his latest project – Bella Brown & The Jealous Lovers, which is putting a modern twist on 70s soul & funk music.
