We’re excited to announce that guitarist, engineer, and producer Dweezil Zappa is part of the Vanguard Audio Labs family! Dweezil recently picked up a V44S gen2 Stereo FET Condenser for his amazingly kitted-out studio.

Quoth Dweezil:

“One of the coolest things about working with sound is the happy accident, the discovery of a sound that immediately sounds good in front of a microphone. When you have a V44S in your studio you can be sure that no matter where you put it, you will get a richly detailed sound with amazingly controlled bass extension. I love that I can use one mic and mismatch mic preamps to get different flavors for the stereo field. The V44S brings sounds to life which is also why I like to use it for re-recording instruments from speaker playback to create immersive audio ambient tracks for ATMOS.”
