YouTube musicians Allison Young and Josh Turner are at it again with more collaborative efforts. This time, they’re ringing in the season with two holiday songs – one original and one cover – using the Vanguard V44S gen2 Stereo FET Condenser.

For the first tune, Allison and Josh used the V44S in stereo to capture both their voices. They covered the classic Vince Guaraldi tune “Skating”, with Josh’s guitar supporting their voices.

The second ditty is all original written by Allison. The V44S gen2 is capturing the overheads of Josh Harmon’s drumming, while a V13 Tube Condenser captures the kick drum just out of the frame.
