Vanguard-endorsing artist Qerenne is at it again with another wonderfully-recorded performance at Mitzlol Studio.
In her new song “Demons”, Qerenne croons into a Vanguard V13 Tube Condenser, with backing vocalists Michal Guberman & Chen B. Holzman supporting on two V1+LOLLI Pencil Condensers. As always, her vocal arrangements and performance are absolutely delightful.
The video was shot and recorded by Kobi Farhi at Mitzlol Sound, who also happens to be our distributor in Israel.
From Qerenne on the origins of the tune:
“Demons” was written back at a time when i was writing a new song every couple of days. I was composing non-stop, recording new songs like crazy. Ironically that’s when my inner demons really started to chant with self doubts, judgments, insecurities and fears, and this song is about trying to rise above them. trying to “break the spell that has been cast”. I think anyone could identify with the feeling of having this dark, cold cave deep within you, where your self sabotaging demons lie, sit around their green fireplace and cast their spells on you.
I think any person who has ever created anything can resonate with that story.
